An unforgettable end to Women’s Month and a blissful start to Spring, The ‘So Chic’ Social Experience played out on 31 August 2019 with the appealing backdrop of super-cute Fiat 500s and emotive Alfa Romeo models.
Arnold Chatz Cars in Weltevredenpark made space amidst the shiny new vehicles on their showroom floor for an exceptional host of vendors, each a representative of the stylish order of the day. Our collaboration with the dealership successfully came together after just two months of planning, and they’ve proven to be one of the most pleasant, accommodating and helpful companies we’ve ever worked with.
Thanks to their Marketing Manager, Candice Scorer, the social experience commenced without a hitch, but the weather refused to play its part and instead surprised us with an unusually bitter chill on that Saturday morning. The State 5 Hurley Mobile Coffee Bar was well-prepared for plummeting temperatures, serving up delectable flavoured lattes and a Nutella hot chocolate that was worth going back for.
To accompany the caffeinated cups of warmth, Fabulous Functions by Nadia lavishly aid out an array of mini desserts and treats; baklava cheesecake, chocolate tarts, red velvet cupcakes and much more, atop undulating rose-gold tiers and under bell-shaped glass domes.
We handpicked our vendors very carefully to achieve the perfect matrix, and they truly exceeded expectations with their professionalism and top-quality products. For the active fashionista, Arnasa Movementwear presented their exclusive range of breathable and inversion-friendly sporty tights and tops, ideal for yoga enthusiasts, dancers and gym-goers.
Via la Moda, the locally-based manufacturer of genuine leather bags and accessories put extra effort into their space, complete with a wooden display cabinet and red Fiat 500 convertible stuffed with their premium products. Fans of luxury Italian and French brands were spoilt with choice at the adjoined Catherine Gaeyla Fashion ladieswear and Mettilo menswear stands. Guests also had the opportunity to discover their best-dressed selves with Styld – a forward-thinking digital approach to personal styling.
In between indulgent coconut or liquorice ice cream from Gelato Studio and snacking on Chip ‘n Dip, the ‘So Chic’ patrons were encouraged to treat themselves to a relaxing foot, shoulder or head massage under the tranquil Ease Mobile Spa canopy, and then step on-board the one-of-a-kind Sherbet Angel Beauty Bus, where glossy manicures and sleek blow-outs complemented the theme of the day.
To maintain the youthful glow that comes with attending a relaxing social outing, The Cosmetics Chef was on hand to launch her latest service; custom-create your own lab-quality face serum and learn how to make skincare products in your kitchen!
While the women were at leisure, the men spun around the Constantia Kloof suburbs in one of the many stylish Italian car models; Fiat 500 and Alfa Romeo Giulietta, Giulia and Stelvio.
Something different from your conventional Johannesburg weekends, The ‘So Chic’ Social Experience was well-received by attending guests, vendors and of course, the team at Arnold Chatz Cars.
